Artistic Directors

Rosemary Blessing, Chamber Choir

Rosemary holds degrees in piano performance and business administration from Eastern Mennonite University and has pursued graduate study in choral music. She maintains a private piano studio and teaches piano at Franklin and Marshall College. Rosemary is an active pianist in the Lancaster area and serves as rehearsal accompanist for the Lancaster Symphony Chorus. Rosemary and her husband, Josh, are ministers of worship at Landis Valley Christian Fellowship where they attend with their two young children.

Kit Baker, Choristers I and II

Kit holds a bachelor’s degree in music education from Messiah College and is completing a Master’s degree in music education from Kent State University. She teaches general music and chorus for elementary grades in the Central Dauphin School District. Kit and her husband attend Mount Joy Mennonite Church where they are active in music leadership.


Jonathan Shoff, Men's Ensemble and Accompanist

Jonathan earned his bachelor’s degree in music education from Millersville University with a concentration in piano and a minor in voice. He also holds a Master of Music from West Chester University. Jonathan teaches elementary school music in the School District of Lancaster. He teaches private instrumental and voice lessons, and serves as artistic director for the Music For Everyone Lancaster Community Chorus. Along with his wife and their three children, he worships at Lancaster Alliance Church.


Dorothy (Dot) Smith, Prelude Music

Dot holds a degree in music education from Millersville University, currently studies voice, and has taken classes for Suzuki training and interpreting Scripture with music and acting. She teaches piano in her home studio and taught at Lancaster Country Day School. Dot has taught show choir, drama, and music-creative classes at various camps for children and adults in addition to leading a church children’s choir. Dot and her husband Phil have three grown children and attend Landisville Mennonite Church.


Sarah Wingard, Carol and Concert Choirs

Sarah earned her bachelor's degree in music education from Messiah College with a concentration in voice and extensive study in piano. Growing up in Virginia, Sarah gained early musical experience singing with the nationally acclaimed Shenandoah Valley Children's Choir. Sarah teaches elementary music at the Kraybill and Locust Grove campuses of Lancaster Mennonite School. Wingard also sings and regularly solos with the Susquehanna Chorale. She is an active member of the worship ministry and children's ministry of Crossway Church in Millersville and directs the children's choir there.

Sharon Ho, Accompanist, Carol and Concert Choirs

Sharon Ho graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance. She teaches elementary orchestra at Conestoga Valley School District. Sharon also teaches piano lessons at Linden Hall School and the Lancaster Conservatory of Music. She has been featured as a soloist with the Pennsylvania Academy of Music Orchestra, Hershey Symphony Orchestra, and Millersville University Orchestra. Sharon has accompanied for various vocal and instrumental soloists, pit orchestras, and choirs of all ages.


Maria Bowman, Choir Manager

Maria received a liberal arts degree with a focus in psychology, education, and English from Eastern Mennonite University and has also taken graduate classes in special education through Old Dominion University. Currently, Maria serves as a Family Life Educator at COBYS Family Services. Past involvements include serving as Human Resources administrative assistant at Eastern Mennonite Missions, working as a special education teacher, directing the summer program at Camp Hebron, and participating in two YES team assignments (Mexico City and Albania) with EMM.

Audrey Livengood, Administrative Assistant

Audrey received a master's degree in education with a focus in literacy from Eastern Mennonite University and holds a bachelor's degree in education with a concentration in early childhood education from Millersville University. Prior to becoming administrative assistant, Audrey served on the MCCL Advisory Board. Audrey and her husband have four young sons and operate Livengood Family Farm.

Donna Hershey, Bookeeper

Donna holds a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration from Millersville University. Donna and her husband Merv have four children, all of whom sing in MCCL. Donna and her family attend Weaverland Mennonite Church.
